I probably should go and achieve something

With the appearance of a grey hair yesterday rather prematurely forewarning me of my encroaching age (23 today), I’ve realised that the window in which I might ever be described as a young prodigy, or young anything, is shrinking alarmingly.

I’m going to drown my sorrows in cake and scones.

    Late, but nontheless: 23? Hah! Reverse the numbers then add a couple more at this end of the internet tubes. Whippersnappers these days, no respect, etc, etc…

    It may make you feel better to think that if 40 is the new 30, then you are still only in your teens :-)
