Some reviews
Dec 1st, 2008 | By Stephanie Campisi | Category: NewsThe crew at Not if You Were the Last Short Story on Earth have some nice things to say about some of my work:
Ben Payne:
Stephanie Campisi is another author whose work continues to improve. I loved her story in Shimmer, The Glass Girl Looks Back, a brief but poignant tale of love, beauty, betrayal, pain and creation. Eloquent and touching.
Alisa Krasnostein:
Dog Versus Sandwich challenged me this year with the unrelenting absurdist fiction. Much of the fun I must admit was reading the introduction blurb to the weekly story, which themselves became every more absurd. I thoroughly enjoyed “A Pox on All of Your Houses” by Stephanie Campisi. It never made sense but the imagery was so strong, and a tad nauseating, and had me reading to the end to see where it took me.
Tansy Rayner Roberts:
A Pox on All Your Houses: a tale of Singh and Daughter,” Stephanie Campisi, Dog versus Sandwich - all the stories in this zine have a special kind of crazy to them, but this one really works with an oddball father and daughter team dealing with extreme acne.
Congrats on the great reviews!
