Other People’s Rejection Letters, forthcoming through Random House, will feature a rejection letter sent to me by the lovely Beth Wodzinski of Shimmer last year. I think this is perhaps the only rejection letter I’ve received that has ever made me laugh.

(Beth did go on to buy the Glass Girl Looks Back, so all is forgiven)

    Oooh! I have a rejection included also! - I’m just waiting on his people to speak to their people and get the final approval. When I got this rejection I forwarded it on to almost everyone I knew. I think I can still recite it by heart. Gotta love those!

    Indeed we are. Fine company I’m in, if I do say so myself! Actually, I only contacted them after I read your mention of it, so I have you to thank. Looks like a great book. I of course have a copy of the classic Rotten Rejections.

    I think we could do a multi-volume anthology of these. I could fill a few books with my rejections alone :)
