  1. XD I have long since concluded that either I’m too ethical or too bad at balancing books to succeed at that game.

*waves* Hi, by the way. Not sure if you remember me; but I was wandering through my old Yahoo accounts the other day when I found an e-mail (an old story actually) from you in my Inbox; I thought then that you might be the girl I used to chat with on AIM about six years ago. (I’m thinking we probably met in the virtual sense either through Nicholas Liu or via the Sleepless Writers’ Forum). But anyway, thought I’d say hi! :D

  2. Ethics? I had a jolly old time bribing the mayor of a small township in a developing country to give up their land for my commercial well-being.

I do remember you, absolutely! It’s probably been about six years since I’ve been on AIM, which probably explains why we haven’t chatted! I did catch up virtually with Nick about a year or two ago, but that’s about it as far as Sleepless goes. :) Thanks so much for dropping by to say hi :)

  3. No, it’s cool. I’ve been reading some of your stories on Fantasy Magazine and other places, but it didn’t click that I knew you until quite a while later! You’ve really developed an astonishing prose style.

The last time I talked to Nick would have been late-2008 as well; I think he was in Boston or somewhere equally remote at the time. Looking at his blog, it’s kind of amazing how much he hasn’t changed. :D :D :D
